Heathkit Complete

I have completed the Heathkit Most Reliable Clock! I thought it was a ton of fun to work through. I was able to complete it in roughly three sittings, and about 6 hours of labor. I decided to combine two hobbies and take some film photography of the assembly process. I have attached them to this post for your viewing pleasure. The worst part of putting the kit together was honestly the mechanical assembly. Almost every screw needed to be manually tapped with a self tapping screw which got tedious quick. The other hard part of this kit was aligning the LED colons between the HH:MM:SS. I do recommend this kit as a great entry to soldering, at the price point I would recommend a cheap practice board if you have never soldered before. If not, you could end with an expensive mistake!

The Film used here is Fujifilm 400.
